The world we live in is complex, and so are our beliefs. We must be wise and judicious in how we express our beliefs, especially when they challenge the status quo. But if we accept the existence of a God, it stands to reason that this God would be a God of justice, growth, abundance, and compassion.
As believers, we should strive to reflect these qualities in our lives. We should strive to show acceptance and compassion for all people, regardless of their race, class, sexual orientation, gender expression or beliefs. We should strive to combat poverty and ignorance, rather than worshipping the rich and willfully ignorant.
True faith is about standing up for what is right, rather than using religion as a shield for cowardice. It is about speaking out against injustice and extending compassion to the poor and vulnerable. Let us be brave and stand up for what we believe, when the time is right.
