THE KEEPERS Synopsis
Bound by an ancient blood pact to serve the vampire lord ARMINIUS, five immortal Keepers have been robbed of their souls and humanity for centuries. Each gave up their greatest passions and talents to become ageless servants.
When Arminius travels to modern-day Springfield seeking a mystical bride, his loyal Keepers transport his coffin cross-country. But rebel Keeper GLOVER falls in love with vibrant waitress LAURA LEE, awakening desires and defiance thought lost forever.
Learning they can reclaim their souls by rejecting Arminius, the Keepers unite with Laura Lee and urban vampire hunters. After a seductive vision lures Laura Lee to offer herself as Arminius’ bride, Glover convinces her to break the blood pact.
Enraged, Arminius summons the Keepers to an isolated train yard for revenge. In an epic battle, the Keepers regain their unique inner gifts of Strength, Rage, Grace, Style and Courage to fight their former master. Laura Lee uses the ceremony sword to seemingly slay Arminius before dawn can restore his power.
To prevent Arminius’ resurrection, the Keepers entomb him in a church graveyard. But as each Keeper forgives Arminius’ past abuses, his muffled screams within the coffin signal he still lives. Only Glover’s son GREGOR hides his lingering rage against the vampire lord who corrupted his family.
