When Religion is Silent on the Topic of Murder

I’ve really been questioning Religion a lot lately. Not because I don’t believe in God, Source…but because I do…and I want to use the mind I was endowed with to reason out why some murder is OK with the religious right and other “murders” are wrong. They don’t raise an eyebrow in protest when an innocent young Black or brown child is ripped from their mother’s arms and put in cages or if a Young Tamir Rice is unalived by a police officer. But darn it, they care about what’s happening in a stranger’s womb. Punishing rapists isn’t on their radar, but preventing a victim of rape from getting necessary medical care is? Make that make sense.
